1 of 1000 made for a military contract in 1901. This series of revolver have stampings for the U.S. Army as well as J. T.T. (of the John T. Thompson submachine gun), who was the armorer at the time. A true collectable.

This Colt was manufactured in 1918, at the tail end of WWI. Stampings on the frame and slide show 'United States Property." The bluing is worn in spots but retains a majority of it. The wood grips are in good shape, and still cycles without jamming.
